To sign up- text Sgglobal to the number 41411.
Note to parents/students about text messaging: This is not mandatory for students but the option is available for those who are interested. A website is used to distribute the text messages so students will not have access to my phone number. Obviously, standard text messaging fees apply but there is no additional charge to be subscribed to my texting group.
Current Event Fridays

About 5 students in each class are responsible for presenting a current news article to the class each Friday. Please find the document below that is used for this assignment. A rubric can be found on page 2 of the doc to see info about grading.

Students were assigned to 1 of 5 teams.

-Crusaders
-Owls
-Huskies
-Green Terror
-Eagles

Students should be aware of what team they are on. See team rosters below. This is an individual assignment but teams were formed to help communicate who is presenting on a given Friday.
